Personal Information:
I currently spend my days with my son, Lucas, and my niece, Bailey. Lucas
will be a year old at the end of December, and Bailey is 4 months old. They keep my busy, but I love it. I do
most of my school work while they are napping and before I go to bed at night. Being a mother brings me the greatest
joy I have ever experienced. My family is extremely close. We try to all get together for at least one meal a
week. I have lived in the same town my entire life and would love to stay here and raise my children!
Career Plans:
Liberty University offers a program called "Dual", which allows you to earn a bachelors
degree in Education with dual endorsement in elementary education and special education. I am currently working towards my
bachelors degree in this dual programs, as well as a bachelors in Mathematics. I would like to start my teaching
career in first grade, but would like to eventually move up to a high school teaching Calculus. Coming from a family
with both parents as teachers, I have a passion for working with students. I have thought about eventually going
back to school to possibly become a college professor, working in an education department. I feel like college students
are not fully prepared for what life in a classroom will really be like.
